Description: Patrol Officer Lossiah died of complications from an injury sustained while engaged in a foot pursuit of a suspect. On August 11, 2015, Officer Lossiah was in pursuit of a suspect wanted for multiple larcenies and armed robbery when he slipped and fell down an embankment, injuring his left hip. Officer Lossiah was admitted to the hospital emergency room multiple times over the next month. He was admitted again in September suffering from sepsis and remained in the hospital until his death on October 6, 2015.
