Description: Commander Lyons suffered a heart attack hours after responding to a fire during his shift. On November 4, 2015, Commander Lyons arrived at the farm and witnessed a large amount of smoke coming from a building. Commander Lyons ran around the structure to locate the source of the smoke and for any possible individuals trapped inside. After concluding with fire officials that the cause of the smoke was a wood burner, Commander Lyons left the scene. Several hours after ending his shift, Commander Lyons collapsed. Commander Lyons was transported to the hospital where he stayed for two days, was released and died of a heart attack four hours later on November 7th while at home.
