Description: Deputy Lassiter was killed when his patrol car was struck head-on by a speeding vehicle driven by a drunken driver. The incident occurred on Highway 84, two miles east of Andalusia. Deputy Lassiter and the suspect driver were both killed instantly when the suspect driver veered into Deputy Lassiter's lane.
