Description: Detective Levy ran one block to the scene of a disturbance call at a nightclub. Detective Levy and a fellow officer subdued a man who was strangling a woman. Handcuffs were placed on the suspect, yet he continued to struggle. A hostile crowd cursed and jeered at the officers. Detective Levy was holding the suspect's kicking legs while attempting to attach leg restraints when he collapsed. Detective Levy was pronounced dead of a heart attack at the hospital.
