Description: Officer Laurie was killed in an automobile accident during a vehicle pursuit. Officer Laurie attempted to stop a pickup truck for a traffic violation when the suspect fled. Officer Laurie called for backup and pursued the suspect. Officer Laurie and the responding Tarrant County Deputy collided with each other. Officer Laurie was transported to a local hospital where he died of his injuries. The Tarrant County Deputy was treated for non-life threatening injuries. Friendly action.
