Description: Officer Love and his partner responded to a domestic disturbance call. When the officers entered the house through a window, the suspect threatened both officers with a knife. Officer Love's partner fired two shots at the suspect. One round hit the suspect and the second round hit Officer Love just below his vest. Officer Love was taken to a local hospital where he died later from internal bleeding (friendly fire).
