Description: Officer Lizarraga was shot and killed while investigating a domestic disturbance call in Leimert Park. Officer Lizarraga was flagged down by a woman who had been assaulted by a male suspect in her home. When the Officers arrived at the residence the suspect approached the officers and began shooting. Officer Lizarraga was shot twice in the abdomen below his vest. He was transported to a local hospital where he died two hours later.
