Description: Deputy Lindsey was shot and killed while he and posse members attempted to arrest two suspects for horse theft. As Deputy Lindsey and the posse approached the camp where the suspects were hiding, they were fired upon. Deputy Sheriff Lindsey was shot and killed instantly.
