Description: Sheriff Lashbrook, accompanied by Deputies Carl Neff and Frank Utter, were attempting to arrest several men for creating a public disturbance when they were fired upon. Sheriff Lashbrook and Deputy Frank Utter died instantly and Deputy Neff died several hours later. One suspect was mortally wounded by law enforcement officers and another was arrested.
