Description: Sergeant Lynch was accidentally shot and killed by a fellow officer during a high speed chase while pursuing gangsters. The squad car skidded on a turn and caused a fellow officer's gun to discharge in his revolver, which sent a bullet into Sergeant Lynch's head.
