Description: Officer Lyons had told the assailant minutes before to "move on" and stop harassing a young woman. As Officer Lyons was on his way home, the man followed him and stabbed him in the abdomen. Thinking it was just a scratch, Officer Lyons let the man go. Officer Lyons later died of the knife wound. The man was later found, tried and sentenced to State Prison.
