Description: Chief Landry was shot when he responded to an officer down call regarding his deputy, Burleigh Cormier, who had left the station a few minutes earlier to answer a domestic call. When Chief Landry arrived at the residence, the suspect came from behind the house and shot him twice with a shotgun. The suspect killed Chief Landry, Deputy Cormier, his wife and daughter.
