Description: Chief Lott was killed when his patrol car was struck broadside by a fire truck that was responding to a fire. Chief Lott had positioned his patrol car to block traffic so that the fire truck could make a left turn. The fire truck accidentally struck Chief Lott's car at the intersection. Chief Lott was transported to the hospital where he died. The firemen were treated at the hospital then released. Friendly action.
