Description: Guard Leech was shot and killed by another marshal during an argument while guarding prisoners near Garvin County, Indian Territory (Oklahoma). Guard Leech and the other marshal got into an argument about a dog at the camp when the marshal fatally shot Guard Leech in the chest. The marshal was charged with the murder but was acquitted.
