Description: On May 20, 2017, Border Patrol Agent Morales was off-duty and leaving a local establishment with friends in El Paso, Texas when a suspect approached them and began an unprovoked confrontation. Agent Morales identified himself as a Border Patrol Agent and the suspect brandished a knife and stabbed Agent Morales multiple times. Agent Morales pursued the suspect and he was taken into custody. Agent Morales was transported to the hospital and succumbed to his wounds four days later.
