Description: Patrolman Moyer responded as back-up to a traffic stop on February 25, 1998. The driver had broken glass embedded in his ankle from the broken car window and begged Patrolman Moyer to remove the glass. Patrolman Moyer removed the glass with his bare hands and came into contact with blood which later tested positive for Hepatitis C. On May 26, 2017, Patrolman Moyer died of complications due to his exposure to the Hepatitis C virus.
