Description: Agent Medina-Mariani was shot and killed while attempting to take action during a robbery while off duty. He was inside a restaurant in the Mag??®eyes neighborhood in Ponce, Puerto Rico, when three suspects committed an armed robbery in front of the building. Agent Medina-Mariani observed the robbery and identified himself as an officer. The suspects opened fire and shot him and Agent Medina-Mariani was able to return fire and wounded one of the men. The suspects were taken into custody.
