Description: Officer Miller had been sleeping when demonstrations from the crowd of a party two doors down awoke him. The mob threw him to the ground where he was kicked, beaten, and struck over the head with a fence picket. He was taken to the hospital and surgery was done to help his fractured skull, but died four days later. Eight suspects were held on charges for Officer Miller's murder.
