Description: Deputy Sheriff Mazur was shot and killed by a suspect he encountered while on routine patrol. Deputy Mazur had radioed in that he was stopping a suspicious individual. When back-up deputies arrived they found that Deputy Mazur had been shot once in the head and his service weapon was missing. Deputy Mazur was pronounced dead at the scene.
