Description: Officer Mullis was assisting in the raid of an illegal whiskey operation. One of the suspects ran from the scene. Officer Mullis gave chase and proceeded to jump over a fence. As he landed on the other side of the fence, the suspect shot him. Officer Mullis died the next day at the local hospital.
