Description: Correctional Officer Meux was struck and killed by a vehicle while jogging with three other law enforcement officers while engaged in a training activity for the Special Operations Response Team tryout. While jogging, all four officers were struck by a speeding motorist who fled the scene. The officers were transported to a nearby hospital where Officer Meux succumbed to her injuries. The three other officers survived. The suspect was arrested.
