Description: Patrolman Miller was shot as he attempted to take a burglary suspect into custody. Patrolman Miller was called to the train depot to arrest a suspicious individual matching the description of a man who had burglarized several homes in the area. As Patrolman Miller escorted the suspect from the train, the suspect pulled a gun and shot Patrolman Miller twice. Patrolman Miller died at the scene. The suspect fled but was apprehended a year later.
