Description: Patrolman Matlosz was shot and killed by a suspect while conducting a field interview. As Patrolman Matlosz approached the suspect to conduct the field interview, he was shot three times in the head. Patrolman Matlosz was pronounced dead at the scene. The suspect fled but was later apprehended.
