Description: Officer Mirabal was killed in a motorcycle accident while patrolling North Scenic Avenue. While attempting to initiate a traffic stop, Officer Mirabal's department motorcycle struck the curb, slid across the road and struck a parked tractor-trailer. He was transported to a local hospital with severe head and internal injuries and pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
