Description: Corporal Metternich was killed in a motorcycle accident in the South Sherwood Forest in Baton Rouge. Corporal Metternich had just left the scene of another automobile accident investigation when a motorist made a left turn in front of him. Corporal Metternich's department motorcycle struck the car and was thrown onto the road. Corporal Metternich was pronounced dead at the scene.
