Description: Patrolman Massey was attacked and shot with his own gun when he went to a pool hall to quell an altercation. One of the suspects gained control of Patrolman Massey's service weapon and fatally shot him. Patrolman Massey died at the scene. Both suspects were convicted of murder and received prison sentences of 20 and 30 years respectively.
