Description: Patrolmen Morgan, Ambrose Smith and William Terry were mortally wounded as they conducted a liquor raid on a group of rum runners. When the officers arrived at the residence, they were fired upon from ambush. Patrolman Morgan died of his injuries two days later. Officer Terry died the next day and Officer Smith died later that month.
