Description: Sergeant May and a civilian photographer were in the department helicopter, returning from the Law Enforcement Torch Run for the Special Olympics. The helicopter's tail rotor stopped turning, causing Sergeant May to lose control and crash. Sergeant May and the civilian passenger were killed instantly.
