Description: Officer McGuinn was stabbed to death at the Maryland Department of Corrections while he conducted a nightly prisoner count. All inmates were confined to their cells in a lockdown due to several recent fatal stabbings at the facility. Officer McGuinn was stabbed several times by two inmates who had jammed the locks on their cell doors and were lying in wait to attack Officer McGuinn.
