Description: Deputy Sheriff Miera was killed in an automobile crash while on his way to serve an eviction notice in an unmarked car. Deputy Miera was en route when a truck, attempting to avoid a collision with another vehicle, crossed left of center and struck the deputy's car head on. Deputy Miera was pronounced dead at the scene.
