Description: Officer McNamara was on routine patrol when he radioed to the dispatcher that he was going to investigate a car parked outside the home of a known motorcycle gang member. Officer McNamara called for back up and went to investigate movement in the vehicle. Officer McNamara was shot in the face as he questioned the suspect in the vehicle. Officer McNamara was rushed to the University of Pennsylvania Hospital where he died shortly after surgery.
