Description: Deputy Mitchell was responding to an emergency call where a natural gas explosion had occurred. While en route, Deputy Mitchell had a fatal heart attack. Other responding deputies found Deputy Mitchell on the side of the road; his cruiser was still running. Deputy Mitchell was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
