Description: Police Officer Mukhtar died as a result of injuries sustained during a car crash on December 10, 2012. Officer Mukhtar was responding to a call when he drove over a wet patch which caused his department vehicle to hit the curb and skid into an approaching vehicle. Officer Mukhtar was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries 19 days later.
