Description: Attempting an arrest. Officer Minor and another officer were pursuing a murder suspect. As they confronted the suspect, a gun battle began. Officer Minor was shot in the chest, and the other officer and suspect were both wounded. To keep the suspect from being lynched by a mob, he was transported to St. Augustine by train.
