Description: Patrolman Milam was attacked, shot and beaten to death when he answered a disturbance call at a church. Several intoxicated men were causing a disturbance in the church yard and Patrolman Milam was called. The suspects shot Patrolman Milam three times and fractured his skull. Patrolman Milam died at the scene. Two suspects were convicted of murder and sentenced to death in the electric chair.
