Description: Constable Moore was shot when he served a writ against two brothers for stealing saw logs. As the logs were being loaded to be taken away, one of the suspects produced a shotgun and ordered Constable Moore and his men to stop. As Constable Moore approached the suspect to speak with him, the suspect opened fire, killing Constable Moore.
