Description: Patrolman May left the station to answer a disturbance call. When he arrived at the scene, the drunken man grabbed a patron and threatened to hold her hostage. Shots were exchanged and Patrolman May was struck in the chest. He died a few minutes later. The suspect was struck by several bullets but died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
