Description: Chief of Police Malone and County Officer Frank Tucker were ambushed and shot multiple times by moonshiners. Chief Malone and Deputy Tucker were searching for a moonshine still near Charles Mill but had been lured to that location by the moonshiners themselves by a false tip. A suspect was convicted of both murders and sentenced to life in prison.
