Description: Sergeant McAteer suffered a heart attack while assisting Marshal Les Seeley to subdue a suspect. The struggle lasted for at least five minutes before they were able to place the suspect under arrest. Sergeant McAteer complained of chest pains and collapsed as the suspect was being booked. Sergeant McAteer never regained consciousness and died 2 days after incident.
