Description: Officer McGinnis and Officer Jack Gallagher attempted to arrest a suspect. As the officers approached, the suspect shot at Officer McGinnis, hitting him several times. Officer McGinnis died at the scene. Officer Gallagher shot the suspect once and hit him with his club when the suspect continued to resist after being shot. The suspect died from his injuries.
