Description: Private McManus was killed in an automobile accident while in pursuit of a truck for a registration check. Private McManus' vehicle skidded off the road and rolled several times due to sleet that was falling. Private McManus was rushed to the hospital with a basal skull fracture, a fractured thigh and broken ribs. He died several hours later.
