Description: On June 10, 1982, Police Officer Moss and a second officer were severely injured in a motorcycle crash while in pursuit of two speeding motorcyclists. An impaired driver turned left in front of them and their patrol motorcycles collided with the vehicle. Officer Moss was transported to the hospital where he died four days later. The second officer recovered. The impaired driver was taken into custody.
