Description: Police Officer Murakami was shot by a mentally deranged suspect when he and his partner answered a disturbance call. Officer Murakami was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The suspect was killed in an exchange of gunfire with the responding officers. Two other officers were wounded but survived.
