Description: Sergeant MacPhee was shot when he responded to a burglary call at a confectionary store. Sergeant MacPhee arrived at the scene and observed three suspects who were attempting to enter through the rear window. Sergeant MacPhee ordered them to stop and the suspects fled with Sergeant MacPhee in pursuit. Sergeant MacPhee caught one of the suspects and a struggle ensued. The suspect pulled a gun and shot Sergeant MacPhee four times. Sergeant MacPhee was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
