Description: Guard Miller was killed while handling a prisoner. Guard Miller was left in charge of the prisoner while his party left camp. When the party returned they found Guard Miller had been beaten with an axe while he attempted to pitch a tent. The prisoner had been previously wounded, was quickly taken back into custody, and taken to jail.
