Description: Deputy Sheriff Munson was shot as he attempted to arrest an escaped convict. Deputy Munson was shot in the face and chest as he approached the cabin. The suspect and his accomplice fled the scene. Six days later, a posse killed one of the suspects and arrested the second man.
