Description: Deputy McCallum was shot three times on the front lawn of the courthouse. As Deputy McCallum interviewed the father of a suspect, the suspect burst into the room with a gun. The suspect then fled, with Deputy McCallum in pursuit. The suspect turned and shot Deputy McCallum on the front lawn of the courthouse. Deputy McCallum died of his injuries the next day.
