Description: City Marshal Myers was shot as he attempted to arrest three intoxicated men who were firing their guns. The suspects were apprehended several days later and charged with murder. One suspect was convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison. The second suspect died of natural causes before the trial. The third suspect escaped and was apprehended 15 years later.
