Description: Trooper Moen was killed in an aircraft accident while patrolling near Lake Iliamna, Alaska. Trooper Moen was piloting the single-engine Piper Club float plane when it crashed for unknown reasons. The plane wreckage was located by air patrol the day after it was reported missing. Alaska State Troopers hiked to the scene of the accident and recovered Trooper Moen's body.
