Description: Sergeant Meeks was off-duty and returning home from work. He was unaware that a prisoner, who was serving a life sentence was inside his home attempting to rape his wife. Sergeant Meeks' home was located on the prison property. Suspect worked outside on prison grounds. Sergeant Meeks surprised the suspect and was shot and killed.
